Roshanara Road in north Delhi will be closed to traffic and pedestrians for over a month due to twin tunnel construction by the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC), according to an advisory issued on Friday.
The advisory from the traffic police stated that the road closure will begin from midnight on Friday and continue until November 18.
The twin tunnel construction is taking place on both carriageways of Roshanara Road, from the Roshanara roundabout to Pul Bangash metro station, the advisory mentioned.
As a result, traffic and pedestrian movement on this road will be restricted from Friday midnight to November 18.
To ease commuting, buses and heavy vehicles coming from ISBT and heading towards Shakti Nagar via Roshanara Road will be redirected through Shamnath Marg, Civil Lines, Mall Road, up to Khalsa College, and then towards Shakti Nagar Chowk, and vice versa, the advisory explained.

Commuters are advised to avoid these roads and, where possible, use public transport, particularly the metro, the police requested.
