Sculptor Suvajit Samanta is showcasing his latest works in the “Shape of Imagination” exhibition at Triveni Gallery in New Delhi. The exhibit features approximately fifteen of Samanta’s sculptures, which aim to capture the essence of everyday life events that are often overlooked or unrecorded.

The “Shape of Imagination” exhibition will start from April 13 to April 21 at Triveni Gallery, located at 205 Tansen Marg in New Delhi. The exhibit will be open to the public from 11.00 am to 8.00 pm.

When asked about his artistic motivation, Sculptor Suvajit Samanta told Patriot,  “My goal is to capture the essence of life’s fleeting moments and bring them to physical form through my creations. Each piece is an attempt to convey the beauty and complexity of the world around us, from the mundane to the unseen. They are my memories and observations modelled into maquettes and given shape through my artistic vision.”

Suvajit’s ultimate goal is for viewers to not just observe his work but to experience his journey through his sculptures. “I want people to walk, feel, and experience the poetic and symbolic in my art and appreciate life’s simplicity and free flow,” he said.

“For me, sculpting is a meditation in the shape of miniature sculpture, a way to capture and preserve the beauty of life’s frozen moments,” he added.

When: 11am – 8pm; From April 13 to April 21.

Where: Triveni Gallery, 205, Tansen Marg, New Delhi .
