
New Delhi: A 15-year-old girl was allegedly subjected to repeated sexual assault by her tuition teacher over a span of three years in south Delhi’s C.R. Park area, police revealed on Thursday.
The accused, a tutor originally from West Bengal, has been arrested following a complaint filed by the victim and her father on Wednesday.
According to authorities, the minor reported that she had been attending tuition classes taught by the accused since 2022. During this period, the tutor allegedly subjected her to mental harassment and repeatedly raped her at the tuition center. The victim also claimed that the accused threatened and blackmailed her to ensure her silence.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (South) Ankit Chauhan stated, “The minor alleged that the accused mentally harassed and raped her multiple times at the tuition center. She further accused him of threatening and blackmailing her.”
Based on the complaint, a case was registered against the tutor under Section 64 (rape) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. The accused was arrested late Wednesday night, police confirmed.
The incident has sparked outrage, highlighting the vulnerability of minors in educational settings and the urgent need for stricter safeguards to protect students from such heinous crimes.
