
Three teenagers tragically lost their lives in a drowning incident while bathing in the Munak Canal near the Haiderpur water treatment plant in Rohini, police said.
“At 3.20 pm, a PCR call alerted authorities about the drowning of three children,” said senior police officer.
Immediate response teams from the local police department, fire brigade, and the Delhi Disaster Management Authority swiftly arrived at the scene to initiate a rescue operation.
Following the rescue efforts, the minors were rushed to BSA Hospital in Rohini, where medical professionals pronounced them brought dead,” the official confirmed.
The victims hailed from Bhalswa Dairy, as per the police report.(With inputs from PTI)
