Three people, including two minors, died after the motorcycle they were travelling on collided with a truck near the Kherki Daula toll plaza on the Delhi-Jaipur Highway, police said on Tuesday.

The bodies have been sent for post-mortem examination and an investigation is underway, they said.

The deceased were identified as Mohammad Arman, 14, Prince Kumar, 14, and Navneet Kumar, 19, all residents of Anjana Colony in Sector 37. The three were friends, police said.

According to police, Navneet, who was riding the motorcycle, did not have a driving licence and none of the three was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.

The three had gone to Kherki Daula on Sunday night and were returning on Monday morning when their motorcycle collided from behind with a truck taking a U-turn near the toll plaza, police said.
