
The national capital on Friday witnessed a minimum temperature of 16.1 degrees Celsius, marking a deviation of two degrees below the seasonal average, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
At 8:30 am, the relative humidity stood at 89 percent. The IMD’s forecast indicates mainly clear skies throughout the day, with the city’s maximum temperature expected to reach 31 degrees Celsius.
As of 10 am, Delhi’s Air Quality Index (AQI) was measured at 260, as per data from the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB).
The AQI scale categorizes values between 0 and 50 as ‘good’, 51 and 100 as ‘satisfactory’, 101 and 200 as ‘moderate’, 201 and 300 as ‘poor’, 301 and 400 as ‘very poor’, and 401 and 500 as ‘severe’. (With inputs from PTI)
