Art attack

What: Challenging the status quo, this exhibition features the works of several leading artists. Titled ‘Tales of Yore’, it is a fluent march across the sweep of time, aiming to capture nimble human fancies through emblematic art. The exhibition has invited leading artists, sculptors and satirists to open windows to their imaginings of a reality that is unconventional and far removed from everyday trials. From paintings and sculptures to lucid outlines, tit showcases the works of artists like KG Subramanyan, Shanti Dave, Jogen Chowdhary, Manu Parekh, KS Radhakrishnan, Paresh Maity,  Seema Kholi, Vinita Karim and Farhad Hussain among others.

When: January 28 – February 28 (11 am – 7 pm)

Where: Gallerie Nvya, Square One Designer Arcade, Saket

 

Laugh out

What: Get ready to have your funny bone tickled. One of India’s most loved comedians, Adnan Nalwala, is all set to perform in the city. An entrepreneur during the day and an entertainer by night, Adnan is a unique mix of management and creative skills. He has an effortless way with observational humour and impersonations. Adnan launched his stand-up career nearly seven years ago and has performed and hosted in different cities across the Middle East and India. Known for his goofy personality and a witty sense of humour, he is bringing his amusing jest to leave you in splits with his comic timing. So, head over for an evening of comic relief.

When: February 8 (7:30 pm)

Pizza mania

What: This one is for all the pizza lovers in the city. The Pizza Fest is here with a three-day long celebration of the dough, cheese, tasty sauces and delicious toppings. From wood fired, thin crust, deep dish, pizza waffles, pizza golgappe, pizza momos, pizza cones to pizza burger, there will be a variety of pizza types and toppings for taste buds of all types. There will also be a variety of fancy sides on the menu – burger, fries, waffles, desserts and drinks. So, gear up for the cheesiest fest in town and spend a day enjoying freshly baked pizzas and refreshing drinks, along some awesome music.
