Pottery on two-wheels
What: If you can cyle, here’s the chance to enjoy an experience of a lifetime. Free Soul Events is organising a ride through Kumhar Colony, India’s largest potter’s colony. Get an opportunity to spend time with the craftsmen as they take you through their daily lives. Learn to make your own creations in a pottery workshop. Breakfast is available at the end of the tour.

Open mike night at CP
What: Is nervousness and social anxiety getting the best of you? Fret no more as The Loudspeakers bring to you an opportunity to hone your public speaking skills. All participants can pick a topic of their choice and share their thoughts on it. Get a chance to socialise with different people and learn about various interesting issues. So, drop in this weekend to give a boost to your confidence.

Tale of a maid
What: She sweeps, mops, cooks, and puts everything in order. A single day of her absence and we are left at a loss. Here is the tale of those women who we refer to as ‘bai‘. Nadeer Shah Babbar’s Hindi comedy, Sakubai tells the story of these women who form a crucial part of our lives. Actor Monica Misra plays multiple characters to portray the double standards of urban society.
When: May 6 (7:30 pm)

Segway thru the capital
What: Here’s a chance to visit some of the greatest historic buildings and monuments. And the best part? You get to cruise around the city on a Segway. They train you on how to use the vehicle and provide you with all safety gears. Join the tour for some adventure and enjoy the city’s rich heritage. You can carry your camera to capture the experience as they take you through Rajpath, India Gate and other places.
When: Monday to Friday (5:15 am – 8:15 am) and weekends (5:15 am – 9 am)

Indie Comix fest
What: For all the comic fans in the city, here is the first edition of Indie Comix Fest in Delhi. The festival hopes to bring together all artists and readers together to celebrate and promote self-published comics.
When: May 13 (10 am – 6 pm)
Where: The Design Village, Block C, Noida

Paint to heal
What: Contribute to a cause this Mother’s Day by painting your own masterpiece. Organised by OncoHappy, take the help of an art coach to flaunt your creative side. Dedicate your paintings to your mother. All funds raised from the event will be used for cancer treatment.
When: May 1-12

Ek Mamooli Aadmi
What: Head to Saksham Theatre Festival this weekend to watch the story of a municipal clerk who realises he has cancer. Join him in his journey as he attempts to enjoy his life to the fullest in his last few days.
