Pandit Chatur Lal Memorial Society will present the 29th edition of Amar Jyoti – A Musical Tribute to the Unknown Soldiers at Kamani Auditorium, New Delhi, on August 25. The concert will commemorate the birth centenary of tabla maestro Pandit Chatur Lal (1926–2026).

The evening will feature Padma Bhushan and Grammy Awardee Pandit Vishwa Mohan Bhatt, Tantri Samrat Pandit Salil Bhatt and tabla maestro Pranshu Chatur Lal. Celebrated vocalist brothers Pandit Ritesh Mishra and Pandit Rajnish Mishra, disciples of Padma Bhushan Pandit Rajan Mishra of the Banaras Gharana, will also perform.

The concert, which has been held for nearly three decades, honours India’s Unknown Soldiers through Indian classical music. The Department of Posts released a commemorative postage stamp on April 16 to mark his birth centenary. The concert is presented in association with Indian Oil Corporation Limited, with support from GAIL, Shalimar Corp Limited, HMEL and Oil India Limited, and hospitality partner Radisson Blu Plaza Delhi Airport.
