The artists work in diverse graphic mediums and processes, from the conventional water colour on paper and oil on canvas to textiles – jute and textile, etchings, drawings made with pencil, graphite and in scratched-paper works and even experimental techniques using terracotta on acrylic sheet and wax on canvas board.
The exhibition, which also includes a sculpture in wood and ceramic by Sojwal Samant, offers a glimpse of diverse expressions and inspirations from figurative to abstract, from urban to pastoral, from realistic to conceptual and from social to psychological.
