Gallerie Nvyā is set to present Portals of Possibilities: Chasing Daydreams, an exhibition by multidisciplinary artist Shiffali Wadhawan. Curated by Priya Pall, the exhibition will run from October 6 to November 15 at Gallerie Nvyā, Square One Designer Arcade, Saket, New Delhi.
The exhibition explores themes of self-discovery and transformation through Wadhawan’s blend of realism and symbolism. Her work integrates everyday objects and wildlife, using them as metaphors to delve into personal and universal experiences. The exhibition features paintings that reflect the artist’s ongoing exploration of identity and time, with her use of acrylic and oil paints on linen creating layered, detailed compositions.
Shiffali Wadhawan describes her work as “a meditative process, a way to explore the nuances of identity, transformation, and time.”
Priya Pall, the curator, said, “Shiffali highlights themes of time, chance, and feminine power through her playful yet profound use of color and imagery.” Pall’s curatorial approach emphasises the reflective and transformative nature of Wadhawan’s work, framing it as an exploration of personal growth.

Wadhawan’s art often features wildlife intertwined with everyday objects, symbolising life’s transitions. “Each piece reflects my inner journey, and I hope to invite others to explore their narratives through my work,” said Wadhawan. Her works, primarily rendered in acrylic and oil paints on linen, create intricate layers that invite deeper contemplation.
The exhibition, Portals of Possibilities, continues Gallerie Nvyā’s tradition of showcasing contemporary Indian art. The gallery, founded by Tripat Kalra and now led by Meher Kalra, has been a platform for both established and emerging artists. It is known for promoting artistic expression and experimentation, providing space for diverse artistic voices.
The exhibition will be open daily from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM until November 15.
