Glamour Gurgaon presents the 6th season of Mrs Delhi-NCR 2022 on December 18 at The Leela Hotel & Residences, Ambience Gurgaon. 

About 600 applicants have been auditioned this year out of which 70 contestants were shortlisted for the distinguished title. The contestants were selected based on certain criteria such as height of 5 feet and above, age up to 45, and residency in Delhi NCR. 

The gala event will have popular actress Simone Singh as the celebrity judge, along with past season winners.  This year theme advocates Breast Cancer Awareness. The pageant has previously emphasised on social problems that women face in the society.

There will be various training sessions held between December 15 – December 16 where the shortlisted contestants will undergo grooming sessions with renowned fashion designers and image consultants, along with in-depth training, photoshoots, and make-up sessions to prepare them for the Grand Finale. 

Experts will also take sessions on mindfulness so the contestants may focus on their well-being. The contestants will be walking the ramp in the garment theme of metallic and sequences.

“We are holding this pageant on a regular basis and I am delighted to witness the same passion and enthusiasm in women,” said Barkha Nangia, Director of Glamour Gurgaon. 

“The pageant honours the essence of modern women. The aim behind this pageant is that many married ladies think twice before leaving the house. But Mrs Delhi-NCR strives to instil confidence in the contestants so that they can participate and showcase their skill to the world. This will assist them in personal development and discovering their individuality. Candidates will also find work in the entertainment industry,” she added.
