
Baro Market, founded by Srila Chatterjee, will bring independent designers, artisans and creative studios together for a three-day pop-up at Alliance Française de Delhi, New Delhi, from September 25 to 27. The showcase will feature slow fashion, conscious living products, heritage textiles, gender-neutral clothing, artisanal food, home accents and homegrown toys.
The pop-up will include Karma Ashrama, which works with artisan communities on handcrafted Indian textiles; No Name, offering gender-neutral clothing in handwoven cottons and linens; and Dookdi, a lifestyle brand making textile accessories, stationery and home accents in small zero-waste batches.
Food and play will also be part of the showcase, with Kase Cheese bringing handcrafted cheeses made with locally sourced milk and traditional cheesemaking methods, while KEC Games will feature Indian tabletop games and toys made using materials such as wood and cloth.
Founded in 2019, Baro Market is a platform for homegrown designers, artists and craftspeople from across India, with a focus on locally made, ethically sourced and consciously produced products.
