
Artist Kamal Devnatha is set to display his latest art piece, “Beyond The Frames”, in his 15th solo exhibition at Visual Art Gallery, India Habitat Centre, New Delhi, from May 1 to May 5, 2024.
The exhibition will showcase over 55 artworks featuring Devnatha’s distinctive style, blending traditional and modern techniques.
His artwork, characterised by delicate figures in pastel colors, invites viewers to interpret and reflect on the pieces. Devnatha draws inspiration from nature and music, infusing his canvases with vibrant colors and fluid strokes.
His passion for painting and music is evident in his lyrical artworks, which have been featured in charity auctions. Devnatha’s artistry has been recognised through numerous solo and group exhibitions in India and abroad, blending traditional Indian and modern styles.
Kamal Devnatha said, “Born out of a passion for painting and an interest in playing instruments, my artworks combine beats and sounds with nature’s creations”.
“His stylised figures gained recognition, being featured in a limited-edition designer series for a charity auction in Gurgaon. With over 14 solo exhibitions and more than 200 group shows, Devnatha’s art continues to captivate audiences both in India and abroad,”Devnatha said.
Describing his approach, Devnatha asserts, “As a self-taught artist, I believe in the freedom to experiment without artificial constraints. My collection includes figurative and semi-abstract works, blending traditional Indian and modern styles. I’m honoured to have my work recognised and awarded by the state’s CM and exhibited in Delhi and other metros”.
