Eikowa Contemporary is currently showcasing its latest exhibition, “Beyond the Surface: A Journey Through Form and Abstraction”, which began on September 13 and will run until September 30. 

This exhibition offers a profound exploration of contemporary art, where corporeal and abstract elements intersect, challenging viewers to look beyond initial impressions. 

The exhibition features a diverse array of artistic approaches that push the boundaries of various media. Each piece invites a deeper engagement, encouraging visitors to explore the intricate layers of meaning and emotion embedded within the art. 

By reconsidering the relationship between surface and substance, “Beyond the Surface” aims to offer a more nuanced interaction with the narratives conveyed through abstraction and materiality.

The lineup of artists includes Vinod Daroz, renowned for his ceramic works exploring themes of sacred union; Somu Desai, whose metallic pieces reflect on societal facades; Himanshu Joshi, presenting intricate fractal digital prints; Tapas Biswas, known for mixed media sculptures that reimagine urban consciousness; Gaurishankar Soni, offering compelling mixed-media compositions; and Bhuwal Prasad, showcasing tribal-inspired abstractions.
