
The Celebrating India Film Festival (CIFF 2025), dedicated to showcasing India’s cultural identity through cinema, will be held from August 8 to 10 at the NCUI Auditorium. Organised by Graphisads Ltd. in collaboration with FTII and IGNCA, the festival will feature screenings, masterclasses, exhibitions, and conversations with voices in Indian cinema and culture.
Timed around Independence Day, the festival will feature over 50 films on themes such as Environment & Wildlife, Tourism & Heritage, and Art, Culture & Spirituality.
A highlight will be the world premiere of Aham Bharatam – I Am India, a film by Bharatbala, made in collaboration with IGNCA.
The festival will also honour Manoj Kumar with a special screening of Kranti.
Interactive events include a session by Ricky Kej on music and cultural narratives, and talks by R.S. Prasanna and Divy Nidhi Sharma on storytelling rooted in Indian experiences. Panels by the Film Critics Guild and IGNCA, and contributions from producer Gaurav Dhingra will also be featured.

There will also be a vintage film poster exhibition and a symposium titled “Preserving Culture Through Film.” FTII faculty will conduct masterclasses for aspiring filmmakers.
