The Oxygen Art Guild will host “Colours of Convergence” where one will witness how multiple expressions, hues, textures and forms echo in unison. The event is scheduled from 4 to 9 November 2022 at MUSEO Camera Centre for the Photographic Arts.

During the event curated by Kiran Kethline Mohan, works of renowned artists such as Anil Goswami, Aniruddha Mukherjee, Apurba Karati and many more will be presented.

As an art organisation, Oxygen Art Guild works with concepts, themes and forms that spill out of into realms between the conjured and the real. It is a unique platform where ideas flow freely onto many a canvas

In its bid o bring the experiential and the ephemeral together in all our creations, it crafts visual experiences in any space or surface.

The group believes that art flourishes best when the artist does not need to think about the means for survival. Therefore, Oxygen Art Guild intends to provide patronage and inspiration to those artists who have the skill, who have the vision, but do not have the means to survive – simply because they have still not found a wealthy patron.

It seeks to democratise art – bring art to every home – so that artworks sell regularly and the artist keeps on doing her/his work for art’s sake.

“A journey from being inspired to becoming the inspiration: There is hardly anyone in this world who does not like to delve into a painting and spend time looking at it. The only thing that acts as a barrier to this thing happening is that we don’t come across awe inspiring artwork – in some cases in a lifetime,” is what the organization stands for.

“If that person who has never seen an awe inspiring artwork in his lifetime or has seen it in digital medium only – is given an option (affordable budget) to possess a beautiful original artwork and showcase it in his home – that man will be inspired. He will tell others in his circle about that artwork and they might not like to be left behind. Because having a canvas in the drawing room is a status symbol,” it believes.

The money collected from such people will go straight to the artist and will act as an inspiration to create more artworks that sell.

Oxygen Art Guild seeks to create a connection between the artist who needs inspiration and the patron who loves being inspired.
