According to the author, the book stresses on the need to brand and position Indian culture correctly. The event is schedule at 4pm on Friday (December 9, 2022) at Marigold, India Habitat Centre, Lodhi Road. It will be followed by High Tea.

Kohli is a writer, journalist who has worked with several national and international media for over two decades. She studied English Literature at the University of Delhi and Mass Communication at IIMC, New Delhi. She started her career with the Times of India group in 2000 and is currently an independent journalist writing for Business Standard and Network 18 Moneycontrol.com.

Since November 2021, Namrata has been working with the Ministry of Culture as Honorary Member, Sanskriti Haat, Centre for Cultural Resources and Training. Her publications include Corona Positives: The Upside of the
Pandemic and a coffee table book on Indian Luxury Real Estate.

“The disintegration of Indian culture is a process that has been slow but steady – much like the boiling frog apologue. If a frog is suddenly put in boiling water, it jumps out, but if it is put in tepid water that is then slowly brought to a boil, it will not perceive the danger and will be cooked to death. It is because we are unwilling to react to or be aware of the sinister threats that arise gradually rather than suddenly, that we become the losers in the long run. Abandoning our culture has become a norm, but this existence has not been written about
in depth,” she said.
