Paint like masters

What: Here’s an art workshop series where you not only get to learn about pioneering efforts of the great masters but also learn their styles and techniques. ‘The Art Quest’ is an invitation to engage in making a compilation of striking artworks featuring works by national and international masters like Jamini Roy, Benod Bihari Mukherjee, Yayoi Kusama and Claude Monet. In this effort, participants can immerse themselves in the wonderfully colourful world of art. With the power of pattern making, one can create simple yet aesthetically stunning artworks. It will be focusing on drawing and colouring with crayons/soft pastels, collage making, finger painting. It extends the mission of the Kiran Nadar Museum of Art, which seeks to bridge the gap between art and the general public to foster art appreciation and museum-going culture.

When: 5 – 26 December (4 -5:30 pm)

Where: Website of KNMA

Vibrant hues

What: A solo show to watch out for this December is Sanchit Art’s exhibition of Neeraj Goswami. The overall theme of the exhibition and of Neeraj Goswami’s work is mysticism and is titled  ‘Meditative Moorings’. The show showcases the artist’s innermost thoughts on canvas in myriad hues and vibrant colours. Neeraj’s painterly journey starts deep inside his mind, during his daily meditation, in which images emerge in his purified soul. His works on canvas depict similar themes of meditation and self-realisation, expressed through his strong lines, geometric forms and dissipated colours.
