Dhoomimal Gallery, the oldest art gallery in India, will present a solo exhibition of paintings by Hemraj at LTC Gallery Bikaner House from January 13 to 21. Titled “Eternal Reminiscence 2.0”, the exhibition will showcase Hem Raj’s latest series of paintings called ‘Eternal Reminiscence 2.0.’
The exhibition will provide a rare opportunity for art enthusiasts to immerse themselves in Hemraj’s masterful creations. The exhibition, curated by Kiran K. Mohan, will be open daily from 11 am to 7 pm.
“The artist’s profound declaration about the present moment echoes throughout the gallery space, challenging traditional notions of time and thought,” said the organisers.
Speaking about his paintings, Hemraj said, “His canvases, largely expansive in size, function as gateways into this unexplored realm. Using the opulent texture of oil on canvas, I encapsulate the essence of the present, beckoning spectators to traverse the uncharted territories of their own existence.”
The upcoming exhibition isn’t merely a visual feast; it embodies a profound philosophical journey that encourages introspection among its audience.
“The vacant spaces within my paintings serve as symbols of the limitless potential encapsulated in the present moment, unencumbered by the burdens of the past or the uncertainties of the future,” Hemraj said.
