German Christmas market to celebrate 25 years of festive cheer in Delhi

The Indo-German Chamber of Commerce (IGCC), in collaboration with the German Embassy, is bringing back its popular German Christmas Market for its 25th edition. The festive event will take place on November 30 and December 1, at the PSOI Lawns, Vinay Marg, Chanakyapuri, from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

Shivani Chaturvedi, Regional Director of the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce, said, “The Indo-German Chamber of Commerce is very proud to host the 25th edition of the German Christmas Market this year. Forging alliances and strengthening bilateral economic ties through cultural exchange has always been at the heart of IGCC’s mission.”

She added, “This year is particularly significant for Indo-German cooperation, with the 18th Asia Pacific Conference being hosted in India after 12 years, coinciding with the Inter-Governmental Consultations last month. Sustainability in festivity is the theme for this 25th anniversary. The event will highlight German technology, green energy solutions, and a variety of German products and services”.

The market will feature German food, seasonal treats, unique gifts, handcrafted treasures, and holiday goodies, offering visitors a memorable shopping experience. The event will also include live music, games, and activities for families and children, creating a festive atmosphere that celebrates the spirit of the season.

Tickets are priced at Rs 500 per person, with free entry for children below 12 years. Tickets can be purchased online on Paytm Insider or at the venue on the event days until 7:00 PM.

The German Christmas Market, supported by the German Embassy, promises a warm festive experience and a unique opportunity to enjoy the Indo-German cultural connection.
