An exhibition titled ‘Journey with the Divine Flow’, featuring works by artist Jayant K, is currently underway at Travancore Palace Gallery on Kasturba Gandhi Marg. On view from March 27 to April 5, 2026, the exhibition presents 45 artworks spanning oil and acrylic paintings, mixed media works and installations.

The exhibition brings together a body of work that unfolds through three interrelated themes—nature, rhythm and the divine icon. Rather than appearing as a passive backdrop, nature emerges as a contemplative space imbued with an unseen presence, shaping the emotional and visual language of the works.

Elements of dance and music run through the compositions, introducing a sense of movement and inner rhythm. Figures appear to swirl, play and dissolve into fluid forms, creating a dynamic interplay between motion and stillness. This rhythmic quality lends the works a sense of immersion, drawing viewers into layered visual narratives.

Alongside these, images of gods and epic motifs—drawn from Indian traditions and their resonances across Southeast Asia—anchor the exhibition within a sacred visual vocabulary. These elements, combined with the artist’s use of varied mediums, create a lyrical and introspective body of work that reflects an ongoing search for the divine within the everyday.

Jayant K, who currently serves as India’s Ambassador to Spain and Andorra, brings together his artistic practice and philosophical inquiry in this exhibition. The works collectively reflect a quiet meditation on creation, continuity and the interconnectedness of all forms of life.

An artist talk titled ‘Journey with the Divine Flow’ will be held on April 1 at 6 pm, organised by Arth Art International. The session will feature a conversation between the artist and Jyoti A. Kathpalia, Associate Professor and art curator, exploring the ideas and processes behind the exhibition.

When: March 27 to April 5; 11 AM to 9 PM

Where: Travancore Palace Gallery, 10A Kasturba Gandhi Marg, New Delhi
