Kavi sammelan, mushaira in Delhi

The Kiran Nadar Museum of Art is set to host a poetry event, reverting to the traditional method of composing poems after two consecutive successful chapters. This time, the event titled “Sammelans, Kavi, and Mushaira” aims to revive the spirit of ancient poetry while incorporating current trends.

The three-and-a-half-hour-long event will showcase a lineup of highly acclaimed performers, focusing on the hidden gems of the poetry circuit who possess the ability to captivate and entertain the audience. Attendees can expect an evening filled with enchanting verses and delightful recitals.

Tickets for the event are priced at Rs 199 and can be conveniently purchased online through various platforms, including BookMyShow and Allevents.

Here is the lineup of artists who will grace the stage: Taikhum Sadiq, a poet and advertising professional; Salman Saeed, a popular face in the Urdu poetry circle and former anchor at Doordarshan; Mohit Rudra Sharma, admired for his work ‘Raavan’ and known for conducting ghazal writing workshops; Ashraf Jahangeer, a viral sensation in the world of ghazals from Balrampur; Vivek Kautilya, a research scholar and poet with popular poetry ‘Karn’; Faizan Anjum, a versatile writer, poet, and founder of Metawords; Mudita Rastogi, a renowned Urdu poet from Mumbai; and Siddhant Shekhar Singh, a pillar of the Metawords team addressing common man’s issues through his language.
