
Crowne Plaza Greater Noida will hold the ‘Lost Recipes of Royal Cuisine’ a food festival from October 21 to 31 at its Spice Art restaurant. The event will feature Chef Rehman, who will recreate dishes from India’s royal kitchens, showcasing recipes from regions like Kashmir, Hyderabad, Rajasthan, and Travancore.
Chef Rehman expressed his enthusiasm for the festival, stating, “It is my honour to invite you to a culinary celebration unlike any other, where we will be reviving the lost treasures of India’s royal kitchens. The ‘Lost Recipes of Royal Cuisine’ festival is a passion project that brings to life the forgotten flavours and intricate culinary traditions of India’s majestic past”.

The festival aims to bring back forgotten dishes that were once part of India’s royal culinary traditions. Chef Rehman has curated a menu based on historical recipes, with a focus on preserving the cooking techniques and ingredients used in these regions. “As we explore the regal kitchens of Kashmir, Hyderabad, Rajasthan, and Travancore, each dish will take you on a journey through time, revealing the rich history, rare ingredients, and sophisticated techniques that once defined royal dining,” he added.
Chef Rehman will also interact with guests to provide context on the origins and history behind each dish. “It is a privilege to share these forgotten stories of India’s culinary heritage with you, and I look forward to personally connecting with you during this special experience,” he said, inviting guests to join him from October 21 to 31 at Crowne Plaza Greater Noida. “Let us rediscover the magic of our history, one dish at a time”.
The festival will run daily from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM.
