In Delhi, RKG is the only gallery which provides free space to all artists
Artists from Jamia Millia Islamia University from across the India, will put up their work at the ‘Nirvana’ exhibition at the RKG Art Gallery till July 20.
The exhibition will see the works of Abeer Khan, Sadaf Akhtar, Sana Parveen, Rida Rizvi, Urooj Jamil, Lucky Ali, Sonam Prajapati, Madhu Yadav, Tabassum Ali, Sobia, Isra, Aftab Shaikh, Rahul Gupta and Aarushi Khanna.
In Delhi, RKG is the only gallery which provides free space to all artists, to promote their talent and artworks. From here, the work is also sold in every exhibition.
There is a variety of art works like portraits, landscape, Arabic calligraphy and so on. The gallery supports and promote every young and talented artist.
It has been curated by Anam Shakeel, (MFA, Art history and appreciation) from Jamia Millia Islamia. The adviser and director of the gallery is Qazi M Raghib, who is also an Art critic and art director from last 35 years.
The exhibition was inaugurated by Chief Guest Rekha Surya, Classical singer and Guest of Honour Ranjit Sarkar, senior artist, special guest Seeme Murtaza Associate professor of Jamia Millia Islamia and Ravindra Kumar Gupta and Qazi M Raghib on 11th July.
