Run for freedom

To celebrate Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, ‘Freedom Run 2023’,  will take place on August 27. It is being organised by Grown on Events as an extended celebration of Independence Day and to educate the youth about social issues such as addiction of drugs, and women rights.

“When you participate you are helping to instigate the development & Every km you will run can make an appreciable difference to it,” the organisers have said.

The event venue is Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium and there are four categories: 10 KM, 05 KM, 03 KM , 01 KM .

Here are details of the charges of each run categories:

10 KM – Run (Timing Chip Run) Rs 1299

5 KM – Freedom Run (Timing Chip Run) Rs 999

5 KM – Fun Run (Non Chip Run) Rs 899

3 KM – Green Run (Non Chip Run) Rs 600 (Under -18)

1 KM – Children’s Run (5 to -12) Rs 600

Deliverable options to participants:

1. Certificate to All Participants

2. Good Quality T-shirt to all participants

3. Medal to all Finisher (online Registration only)

5. Photography and Videography

6. Zumba

7. Route Support

8. Medical Support

Only a group of more than 10 participants are eligible for group discount over and above the on-going flat discounts at the registration page via an access code.
