The seminar will also include a Bharatanatyam presentation by Khanna’s students set to a Thillana composed by the guru, along with the screening of a short documentary, “Resonant Rhythms: The Musical Genius of Guru K J Govindarajan.”
The panel will feature Guru G Elangovan, son and disciple of Govindarajan; Bharatanatyam gurus Jaya Shankar Menon and Sindhu Bhagia Mishra; dance historian and critic Prof. Ashish Mohan Khokar; and Kathak exponent and scholar Parul Purohit Vats.
