Twisted epic tale

Published by
Patriot Bureau

In the original epic, written by Sage Vyasa, the story narrates a struggle between the evil Kauravas and the good Pandavas for Hastinapur, which leads to the battle of Kurukshetra where the fates of the Pandava and Kaurava princes is decided. But this time, the struggle is for survival. The play has an unconventional hilarious journey of the Mahabharat characters on the stage of life and theatre. It’s the story of an epic mess — a mess created by idiocy and idiosyncrasies. Designed and directed by Swati and Rajneesh Gautam, the play features a talented cast of Ayush Tandon, Dev Singh Rajput, Gaurav Kapoor, Rishika Chawla, Sankalp Bhardwaj, Rajneesh Gautam and others. Tickets for the play are available online on BookMyShow.

Where: Akshara Theatre, 11-B Baba Kharak Singh Marg, New Delhi

When: Till 28 August
