The All India Fine Arts & Crafts Society (AIFACS) in New Delhi is currently hosting ‘Untamed’, a solo exhibition by artist Saarthak Sharma. The exhibition will be on display until April 1, 2024, from 11 am to 7 pm.
“‘Untamed’ is not merely an art exhibit; it is a sanctuary for the intrepid explorer within each visitor — a haven where untamed visions roam free and the wild spirit finds its voice,” said Saarthak Sharma, the artist behind the exhibition.
Born in Kenya but brought up in India, Sharma’s artistic creations embody a profound connection with the wild. “Educated at The British School New Delhi, my multicultural upbringing has been instrumental in infusing my work with kaleidoscopic emotions,” Sharma added.
“Inspired by Africa’s biodiversity, my canvases teem with life, each stroke pulsating with the energy of the animal kingdom,” Sharma explained. “With accolades, like the ‘Picasso’ award from Kothari International School to my credit, affirm the untapped potential of the wilderness within.”
“Through this ‘Untamed’ series, I blur boundaries, inviting viewers into a realm where nature reigns supreme. Each bold stroke, each colourful hue is a testament to the untamed spirit within us all — a call to embrace boundless beauty and possibility,” Sharma concluded.
