Music lovers in the capital will have the opportunity to witness an intimate musical collaboration as Rekha Bhardwaj and Vishal Bhardwaj come together for a live concert titled Jazbaa-E-Ishq – A Celebration of Togetherness on March 7 at Bharat Mandapam.

Organised by Rudraksha Live Entertainment, the concert is envisioned as more than a musical performance. It seeks to explore the emotional depth of love, unity, and companionship through melodies that have shaped contemporary Indian cinema and independent music. Audiences can expect a journey through soulful compositions, evocative storytelling, and moments of quiet reflection, all presented in a grand yet intimate live format.

A celebration rooted in togetherness

Rekha Bhardwaj’s textured, emotive voice and Vishal Bhardwaj’s layered compositions have long created some of the most memorable songs in modern Indian music. Their artistic partnership, both personal and professional, lends Jazbaa-E-Ishq a reflective and deeply resonant quality.

Sharing her thoughts on the upcoming evening, Rekha Bhardwaj said, “For me, music has always been about emotion and connection. Jazbaa-E-Ishq is an attempt to revisit songs that people have loved over the years and present them in a way that feels intimate and heartfelt. Performing live allows us to feel the audience’s energy — that exchange is very special.”

Vishal Bhardwaj described the concert as a continuation of their creative journey: “Every song carries a story and a memory. When Rekha brings her voice to a composition, it gains a new dimension. This concert is about celebrating that shared journey — with each other and with the audience.”

Music as a force for connection

For the organisers, the concert reflects a broader vision of using music to bring people together. Vivek Kaushik, Founder and CEO of Rudraksha Live Entertainment, said, “Music is not just entertainment — it is a powerful medium of emotion and social connection. With Jazbaa-E-Ishq, we hope to create an experience where people can come together, reflect, and reconnect through the shared language of music. Art has the ability to unite hearts beyond boundaries, and this evening is our humble attempt in that direction.”

The evening will feature a carefully curated repertoire of beloved songs, each chosen to create an immersive, emotionally engaging atmosphere. Beyond the familiar hits, the concert promises moments of surprise, improvisation, and dialogue between singer and composer, giving audiences an insider’s view of the creative process.

An evening for Delhi’s music lovers

Live collaborations like this are rare and allow audiences to witness the synergy between composer and singer in real time. For Delhi’s music enthusiasts, the concert presents an opportunity to connect with both the artistry and the sentiment behind the music.

Jazbaa-E-Ishq – A Celebration of Togetherness begins at 7 PM on March 7 at Bharat Mandapam. Tickets are available on BookMyShow.
