Tejasvi’s big ton powers Air India

Century by right-handed batsman Tejasvi Dahiya (148 not out) and half-century by Shafiq Khan (57) helped Air India Sports Board beat Delhi Cricket Club by seven wickets at the Talent Hunt Academy ground in a Super Elite 1 group game. Dahiya and Khan had added over 150 for the third wicket.

Brief scores: Delhi Cricket Club 241/7 in 40 overs (Milan Chouhan 77, Aryan Sharma 51) lost to Air India 244/3 in 30 overs (Tejasvi Dahiya 148 not out, Shafiq Khan 57) by seven wickets.

Pelican Club eke out a win

Century by right-handed batsman Jatin Kadyan (101 not out) runs and three-wicket hauls by Raghav Bakshi (3/25) and Inder Kumar (3/35) helped Pelican Club edge past Rohtak Road Gymkhana by three wickets at the Shivaji College ground in a Premier 2 group game.

Brief scores: Rohtak Road 208 all out in 39 overs (Ankush Bains 85, Vishal Sehwag 54, Raghav Bakshi 3/25, Inder Kumar 3/35) lost to Pelican Club 209/7 in 38 overs (Jatin Kadyan 101 not out, Parv Singla 45) by three wickets.

Malviya ride on Aryan ton

Century knock by right-handed batsman Aryan Sharma (137) helped Malviya Cricket Club beat Jat Heroes by 80 runs at MCG 2 in an Elite 3 group game.

Brief scores: Malviya Club 279/8 in 40 overs (Aryan Sharma 137, Sarthak Narang 41, Krishna Gupta 3/52) beat Jat Heroes 199/9 in 40 overs (Kasturi Lal 45, Himanshu Soni 45) by 80 runs.

Alpine score big win thanks to Shashi’s five

Right-arm pacer Shashi’s 5/18 and Nikhil Kumar’s 80 helped Alpine Club thrash Malviya Club by 106 runs at the City Gymkhana grounds in an Elite 4 group game.

Brief scores: Alpine Club 236/8 in 40 overs (Nikhil Kumar 80, Adarsh Yadav 35, Tanishq Yadav 2/53) beat Malviya Club 130 all out in 32 overs (Aditya Gautam 41, Shashi 5/18) by 106 runs.

Kshitiz ton takes NK Khanna to big win

Delhi’s ex-Ranji Trophy player and right-handed batsman Kshitiz Sharma scored a century (118 runs) while Musaid Azad hit 63 and Ankit Pratap Singh powered to 57 to help NK Khanna Club beat last year’s winners Telefunken Club by 168 runs at the HCA ground in a Premier 1 group game. Kirit Kaushik took 4/23.

Brief scores NK Khanna 317/5 in 40 overs (Kshitiz Sharma 118, Musaib Azad 63, Ankit Pratap Singh 57) beat Telefunken Club 149 all out in 33 overs (Yash Dabas 42, Kirit Kaushik 4/23, Mayank Rawat 3/36) by 168 runs.

Canara Bank prevail

All-round performances by right-handed batsman Gaurav Punia (46 not out, 2/22) and Devender Yadav (36 and 2/30) helped Canara Bank beat EIL by four wickets at the Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce Grounds in a Super Plate 1 group game.

Brief scores: EIL 159 all out in 33 overs (Munish Jolly 77) lost to Canara Bank 160/6 in 31 overs (Gaurav Punia 46 not out, Sahil Sharma 43, Devender Yadav 36, Amoya Dhar 3/40) by four wickets.

Bright slam Mohan Meakins

Four-wicket hauls by Shubham Sharma (4/34) and Mohammad Minaj (4/25) as well as Mayank Malhotra’s 56 helped Bright Cricket Club slam Mohan Meakins by 108 runs at the Central Secretariat grounds in a Premier 3 group game.

Brief scores: Bright Cricket Club 243 all out in 39 overs (Mayank Malhotra 56, Shubham Sharma 48, Karan Vir Gogia 4/32) beat Mohan Meakins 135 all out in 29 overs (Saurabh Kumar 41, Nikhil Chand 35, Mohammad Minaj 4/25, Shubham Sharma 4/34) by 108 runs.

RPCA triumph over Gush

Off-spinner Anish Gautam (4/22) helped RP Cricket Academy beat Gush Cricket Club by nine wickets at the Central Secretariat 1 grounds in a Premier 1 group game.

Brief scores: Gush CC 86 all out in 30 overs (Anish Gautam 4/22) lost to RPCA 89/1 in 17 overs (Anant Singh 34 not out, Parth Bali 34 not out) by nine wickets.

Golden Hawks in easy win

Golden Hawks Club beat Mohan Meakins by six wickets at the Chhattar Singh Stadium in a Premier 3 group game.

Brief scores: Mohan Meakins 102 all out in 23 overs (Hardik Sharma 60) lost to Golden Hawks 107/4 in 15 overs (Ankit Kumar 38, Keshav Dabas 32 not out) by six wickets.

Subhania prevail over SB Youth

Half-centuries by right-handed batsman Arun Kumar (77) and Ashwini Chillar (60) helped Subhania Club prevail over SB Youth Club by five wickets at Haryana Cricket Academy grounds in a Premier 1 group game.

South Delhi emerge victors

Tushar Tanwar’s 4/20, Tinku Tomar’s 3/28 and half-centuries from Sahil Sharma (65) and Shivam Kumar (51) helped South Delhi Colts score a win over City Gymkhana by 45 runs at the City Gymkhana grounds in a Super Elite 1 group game.
