IND vs PAK: The intense India-Pakistan clash is underway, and Team India has suffered an early setback. Fast bowler Mohammed Shami walked off the field after completing the fifth over. He experienced ankle discomfort during his third over, prompting the physio to check on him. Although he finished the over, he soon left the field for treatment.

India faces a potential setback as Mohammed Shami walked off the field during his spell. He had been bowling well, troubling Pakistan’s openers in his third over. With Shami off the field, Rohit Sharma brought in Hardik Pandya as a replacement in the attack.

If Shami is unable to return, Pandya will have to shoulder the responsibility of India’s second pacer, expected to complete his full quota of 10 overs.

Pakistan won the toss and chose to bat on a sluggish pitch. Imam-ul-Haq replaced the injured Fakhar Zaman, who has been ruled out of the Champions Trophy. India, on the other hand, fielded an unchanged XI from their victory over Bangladesh.
