Samsung continues to dominate the Indian smartphone market by offering reliable build quality, long-term software support, and user-friendly interfaces across its lineup—whether flagship or budget devices. If you’re planning to upgrade your current Samsung device or buy a new one without exceeding Rs 20,000, here are some of the best options currently available.

Galaxy F06

Launched last month, the Galaxy F06 is Samsung’s first-ever 5G phone under Rs 10,000. Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, it features a 6.7-inch LCD display with HD+ resolution and runs on One UI 7 based on Android 15. The device promises 4 years of OS updates and security patches, a rare offering in this price segment.

The Galaxy F06 supports 12 5G bands and Carrier Aggregation, typically found in higher-priced smartphones. On the back, it sports a 50MP primary camera paired with a 2MP depth sensor. The base model with 4GB RAM is available for Rs 9,499, while the 6GB RAM variant is priced at Rs 10,999.

Galaxy M16

The Galaxy M16 features the same Dimensity 6300 chipset but offers a more refined experience with a 6.7-inch sAMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. It also includes a microSD card slot, a feature that is becoming increasingly rare in budget smartphones.

Launched with One UI 7 based on Android 15, the Galaxy M16 guarantees 6 years of OS updates, a standout feature in this price range. The phone houses a triple-camera setup, including a 50MP main shooter, a 5MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP macro sensor. It starts at Rs 15,499.

Galaxy M35

For users prioritising battery life and display quality, the Galaxy M35 fits the bill. Equipped with a massive 6,000mAh battery and powered by the Exynos 1380 chipset, the Galaxy M35 handles multitasking effortlessly. It runs on One UI 6.1 based on Android 14, with Samsung guaranteeing 4 years of OS updates.

Priced at Rs 14,547 for the base variant, the 8GB RAM version is recommended for those willing to spend a bit more.

Galaxy F55

If you prefer a lightweight phone with a premium look, the Galaxy F55 is worth considering. Featuring a faux leather back panel and powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset, the Galaxy F55 delivers a smooth performance. It comes with a 6.7-inch sAMOLED screen offering a 120Hz refresh rate and Full HD+ resolution.

The camera setup includes a 50MP main sensor, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP macro sensor. Interestingly, the Galaxy F55 also boasts a 50MP selfie camera, making it a compelling choice for photography enthusiasts. Currently, the Galaxy F55 is available for under Rs 20,000.
