Motorola Edge 60 Fusion India Launch Details

The Motorola Edge 60 Fusion is scheduled to go live on Flipkart at 12 PM today. However, there is no confirmation regarding a live-streamed event or an official launch presentation from the company.

Expected Price and Availability in India

Apart from Flipkart, the smartphone will be accessible through Motorola India’s official website and select retail outlets. The exact pricing will be announced soon, but considering that the Edge 50 Fusion debuted at Rs 22,999, the Edge 60 Fusion is likely to be priced under Rs 25,000.

Motorola Edge 60 Fusion: Key Specifications

Cameras: The device appears to feature an enhanced camera setup compared to its predecessor. It sports a 50MP Sony-LYT 700C primary sensor and a 13MP ultrawide lens on the back. The listing also hints at a macro lens, though it may be integrated into the ultrawide sensor. Additionally, a 3-in-1 ambient sensor is included to improve lighting and colour accuracy. On the front, there is a 32MP selfie camera with 4K video recording capabilities, similar to the Motorola Edge 50 Pro.

Display: The Edge 60 Fusion boasts a 1.5K resolution panel with a 10-bit colour depth, 100% DCI-P3 gamut, and an impressive 4,500 nits of brightness. The screen is micro-curved on all edges and offers a 96.3% screen-to-body ratio. Protection is ensured by Gorilla Glass 7i. Additional display features include Wet Touch 3.0 and eye-care enhancements.

Processor: Powering the smartphone is the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 SoC, a shift from the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 found in its predecessor.

Memory & Storage: The device will be available in 8GB and 12GB RAM variants, with 256GB of internal storage. Users can expand storage up to 1TB.

Battery & Charging: Equipped with a 5,500mAh battery, the Edge 60 Fusion supports 68W fast charging. Motorola claims the device can be charged in just 9 minutes.

Software & Features: Running on Android 15 with Motorola’s Hello UI, the phone is promised to receive three major OS updates and four years of security patches. It also features Moto AI-powered tools such as Photo Enhancement and Adaptive Stabilisation for better camera performance, Catch Me Up for missed notifications, and Remember This + Recall for saving screenshots, notes, and transcriptions.

Additional Features: The phone’s display and cameras are Pantone-validated for accurate colours. It also boasts IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance, MIL-STD-810H military-grade durability, Moto Secure 3.0, Smart Connect 2.0, Moto Gestures, and Family Space 3.0 for enhanced security and usability.

With these features, the Motorola Edge 60 Fusion aims to deliver a compelling package for consumers looking for a mid-range smartphone with premium capabilities.
