OnePlus launches 15R smartphone, Pad Go 2 tablet in India

OnePlus on Tuesday launched the OnePlus 15R smartphone and the OnePlus Pad Go 2 tablet in India, expanding its premium smartphone and tablet portfolio in the country.

The OnePlus 15R is powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset and features a 7,400mAh battery along with a 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED display offering a 165Hz refresh rate. The OnePlus Pad Go 2, meanwhile, runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Ultra processor and houses a 10,050mAh battery.

Pricing in India

The OnePlus 15R is priced at Rs 47,999 for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant, while the 12GB RAM + 512GB storage model costs Rs 52,999. The smartphone will be available in Charcoal Black, Mint Green and Electric Violet colour options.

The OnePlus Pad Go 2 is priced at Rs 26,999 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB Wi-Fi-only variant, Rs 29,999 for the 8GB RAM + 256GB Wi-Fi-only model, and Rs 32,999 for the 8GB RAM + 256GB Wi-Fi + Cellular version. The tablet comes in Lavender Drift and Shadow Black colours, though the Wi-Fi + Cellular variant will be available only in Shadow Black.

Availability

The OnePlus 15R is currently open for pre-booking through the OnePlus website, OnePlus Store app, Amazon, and select offline retail partners including OnePlus Experience Stores, Reliance Digital, Croma, Vijay Sales and Bajaj Electronics.

The OnePlus Pad Go 2 will go on sale from 12 pm on December 18 across the OnePlus website, OnePlus Store app, OnePlus Experience Stores and select retail outlets. The base Wi-Fi variant will be available on both Flipkart and Amazon, while the 8GB RAM + 256GB Wi-Fi-only variant will be sold via Flipkart and the Wi-Fi + Cellular model will be exclusive to Amazon.

Launch offers

For the OnePlus 15R, customers who pre-book the device can receive OnePlus Nord Buds 3 at no additional cost on a first-come, first-served basis. Buyers will also be eligible for up to Rs 3,000 discount on select bank cards or through trade-in offers. Additional benefits include up to six months of no-cost EMI, a 180-day phone replacement plan and a lifetime display warranty. Customers pre-ordering the 12GB RAM + 512GB variant before December 21 can avail an extra Rs 2,000 discount when opting for select no-cost EMI plans.

The OnePlus Pad Go 2 comes with an introductory offer that includes the OnePlus Pad Go 2 Stylo worth Rs 3,999 at no extra cost. Buyers can also avail a limited-period discount of Rs 1,000 and an additional Rs 2,000 off on select bank cards.

Key specifications

The OnePlus 15R features a 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with peak brightness of up to 1,800 nits and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i. It runs Android 16-based OxygenOS 16 and offers up to 12GB LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and 512GB UFS 4.1 storage. The smartphone sports a 50MP Sony IMX906 primary camera along with an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, while the front houses a 32MP autofocus camera. It supports 4K video recording at up to 120fps and carries IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance.

The OnePlus Pad Go 2 comes with a 12.1-inch 2.8K LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision support and up to 900 nits brightness. The tablet features a quad-speaker setup, 8MP cameras on both the front and rear, and runs OxygenOS 16 based on Android 16. It supports 33W SUPERVOOC fast charging along with reverse wired charging.
