Oppo launches Reno 14 5G Diwali Edition with festive design, colour-changing body

OPPO has unveiled the Reno 14 5G Diwali Edition, a special variant designed exclusively for India. The smartphone carries a festive-themed aesthetic with mandala patterns, peacock motifs and other Diwali-inspired elements. It also introduces a heat-sensitive colour-changing finish that shifts from black to gold with body warmth.

Priced at Rs 39,999, the device is available in a single 8GB RAM + 256GB storage configuration. As part of launch offers, it can be purchased for as low as Rs 36,999 for a limited period. Buyers can also avail of up to six months no-cost EMIs, 10 per cent cashback of up to Rs 3,000 on select payment methods, zero down payment options for up to eight months, and an exchange bonus of up to Rs 3,000. In addition, customers will receive three months of Google One 2TB Cloud and Gemini Advanced at no extra cost.

The Reno 14 5G Diwali Edition is on sale through OPPO’s e-store, Flipkart, Amazon, and select offline retailers.

Specifications and features

The handset is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 processor and features a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with 1256 x 2760 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and 1,200 nits peak brightness. It has an aluminium frame, measures 7.42mm thick, weighs 187g, and is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 7i along with OPPO’s Armour architecture for durability.

On the imaging front, the device sports a triple rear camera system comprising a 50MP Sony IMX882 main sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS), an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP telephoto unit. A 50MP autofocus front camera is provided for selfies.

The phone houses a 6,000mAh battery with 80W wired fast charging. It comes with IP66, IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.

For software, the Reno 14 5G Diwali Edition runs on ColorOS 15 and includes several AI-powered photography and editing tools such as AI Voice Enhancer, AI Editor 2.0, AI Recompose, AI Perfect Shot, AI Style Transfer, AI Livephoto 2.0 with export support, AI VoiceScribe, and AI Mind Space.
