Realme is all set to launch the next generation of its popular GT series. The company has confirmed that the Realme GT 7, GT 7T, and a new GT 7 Dream Edition will make their global debut at an event in Paris on May 27, 2025, starting at 1:30 PM IST. The India launch will take place simultaneously, and the devices are expected to be available via Amazon, Realme’s official store, and select offline retailers soon after.

Pricing and availability

Although Realme hasn’t revealed the official Indian pricing yet, leaks suggest that the GT 7 may be priced at EUR 799 (approximately Rs 77,000) for the 12GB RAM + 512GB storage variant. The India sale is expected to begin roughly a week after the launch event.

Design and display

The Realme GT 7 will be available in two colour variants—IceSense Blue and IceSense Black—featuring what Realme claims is the world’s first Graphene Cover IceSense design. This new design incorporates fibreglass for enhanced durability and reduced weight.

On the front, the GT 7 is expected to sport a 6.78-inch 1.5K LTPS AMOLED display with a peak brightness of 6,000 nits, a 120Hz refresh rate, and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection—offering a vivid and robust visual experience.

Performance and software

Powering the Realme GT 7 will be the MediaTek Dimensity 9400e processor, based on a 4nm process and equipped with four Arm Cortex-X4 cores clocked at up to 3.4GHz, a 12-core Immortalis-G720 GPU, and MediaTek’s APU 790 for advanced AI capabilities.

Gaming and battery

Designed with gamers in mind, the GT 7 includes a GT Boost mode for optimised frame rates and reduced power consumption. The device is claimed to offer 6 hours of 120fps gameplay on BGMI. Backing it all is a 7,000mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging, capable of charging the phone up to 50% in just 15 minutes.

Camera capabilities

The Realme GT 7 is expected to feature a triple-camera setup, comprising a 50MP primary sensor with OIS, a 50MP Samsung JN5 telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom, and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens. On the front, users can expect a 16MP selfie camera.

Key specifications

The Realme GT 7 will feature a 6.78-inch 1.5K LTPS AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 6,000 nits peak brightness.
