Realme has expanded its P-series lineup in India with the launch of the P4x 5G, a mid-range smartphone aimed at users seeking strong battery performance and smooth day-to-day usage. The device features a massive 7,000mAh battery, 45W fast charging, and a dual-camera setup.
Pricing and variants
The Realme P4x 5G starts at Rs 15,499 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model. The 8GB + 128GB variant is priced at Rs 16,999, while the 8GB + 256GB model costs Rs 17,999. The phone is available in three colour options: Matte Silver, Elegant Pink, and Lake Green.
Specifications and features
The P4x 5G comes with a 6.72-inch full-HD LCD display offering a 144Hz refresh rate. Realme says the screen reaches 1,000 nits peak brightness, providing better visibility outdoors. The handset also carries an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance.
Performance
Powering the device is the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra chipset built on a 6nm process. It is paired with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, expandable up to 2TB via microSD. The phone additionally supports up to 18GB of virtual RAM for enhanced multitasking.
Camera
The smartphone features a 50MP primary camera along with a 2MP secondary sensor. For selfies and video calls, it includes an 8MP front camera.

To support sustained performance, Realme has equipped the device with its Frozen Crown Cooling System, which uses a 5,300mm² vapour chamber with steel and copper-graphite layers. The phone also offers Hi-Res audio certification and OReality-enhanced speakers.
Battery and connectivity
A highlight of the P4x 5G is its 7,000mAh battery, which supports 45W fast charging, bypass charging, and reverse wired charging. Despite the large battery, the handset retains a slim 8.39mm thickness and weighs 208g.
Connectivity features include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a USB Type-C port.
