Globally, the new Kodiaq offers multiple powertrain options, which may make their way to India. These include a 1.5-litre mild-hybrid petrol engine producing 150PS, a 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine with 204PS, and a 2.0-litre diesel engine with two output options (150PS and 193PS). There is also a 1.5-litre turbo petrol plug-in hybrid paired with a 25.7kWh battery pack, delivering a combined output of 204PS. All engines, except the plug-in hybrid, are mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT), while the hybrid version uses a 6-speed DCT. Additionally, the 2.0-litre petrol and diesel variants come with an all-wheel-drive option, enhancing the SUV’s versatility on different terrains.

The 2025 Skoda Kodiaq is expected to feature cutting-edge amenities that elevate comfort and convenience. A 13-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, and an optional heads-up display headline the list of tech upgrades. Passengers will also benefit from a cooled dual phone box in the second row, capable of charging two smartphones simultaneously at 15W. Other highlights include powered front seats with heating and cooling functions, ambient lighting, and a panoramic sunroof.

Skoda has prioritised safety in the new Kodiaq, equipping it with up to nine airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), and a 360-degree camera. The SUV also incorporates advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) such as adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, lane assist, parking assist, and automated emergency braking, ensuring a secure driving experience.

Whether for daily urban commutes or long road trips, the 2025 Skoda Kodiaq promises to deliver a compelling mix of performance, comfort, and safety.
