Vivo T45 5G to launch in India on July 31: Key features, camera, design and expected price

Vivo is all set to expand its T-series portfolio in India with the launch of the Vivo T45 5G on July 31 at 12 PM. Positioned in the mid-range segment, the handset is expected to offer a blend of premium design and capable performance at a competitive price point.

Sleek design with quad-curved display

A standout feature of the Vivo T45 5G is its quad-curved display—a design typically seen in higher-end devices. The screen curves smoothly along all four edges, lending the phone a sleek and modern appearance. The device is expected to launch in two colour variants: a clean white finish and a purple gradient. While the back sports a matte texture, the glossy frame provides a visual contrast.

The design closely resembles that of the iQOO Z10R, particularly in terms of camera layout and overall aesthetics. This similarity isn’t surprising given that iQOO is a sub-brand of Vivo, and the two often share hardware elements.

Performance and software

Vivo has confirmed that the T45 5G will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 processor, a mid-range chipset designed for balanced performance and power efficiency. Although RAM and storage configurations have not been officially announced, industry speculation points to variants offering up to 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage—similar to the iQOO Z10R.

The phone will ship with Funtouch OS 15 based on Android 15, bringing a refreshed UI and updated privacy features.

Camera features

On the imaging front, the T45 5G will feature a 50MP Sony IMX882 primary sensor with support for 4K video recording. Promotional teasers indicate that the phone may also include an Aura Light ring flash—previously seen in the iQOO Z10R—enhancing lighting for portrait photography in low-light conditions.

Additional features and pricing expectations

If the Vivo T45 5G is indeed a rebranded version of the iQOO Z10R, users can expect an IP68/IP69 rating for dust and water resistance, a relatively rare offering in this price segment.

While Vivo has yet to officially announce the price, the iQOO Z10R debuted at Rs 19,499. The T45 5G is expected to fall within a similar range, making it a strong contender in the sub-Rs 20,000 market.

Launch event

The Vivo T45 5G will be officially unveiled on July 31 at 12 PM IST. Details regarding pricing, availability, and sale platforms will be announced at the event.
