Celebrities pour in wishes on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday

On 17 September, Prime Minister Narendra Modi turned 72. Since the morning, greetings from celebrities from all over the country have come to wish him. A number of celebrations are being planned throughout the nation to mark his special day. He received congratulations on his special day from a number of Bollywood celebrities, including Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, and Anupam Kher, among others.

Anupam Kher took to Twitter and wrote in Hindi: Respected Prime Minister. It was a great pleasure to meet you today. The hard work you are doing day and night for the countrymen is inspiring! We will always remember the reverence with which you accepted the rosary of Rudraksha sent by my mother to protect you. Jai Ho. Jai Hind!


Akshay Kumar shared a picture where he is having a conversation with the PM and wrote: Your vision, your warmth, and your capacity to work…just some of the many things that I find deeply inspiring. Happy Birthday @narendramodi ji. Wish you health, happiness and a glorious year ahead. 


Anil Kapoor also shared two photographs with Narendra Modi. He wrote on Twitter: A very Happy Birthday to the man who has put India on the world map in a way we could never have imagined…the harbinger of acche din, the leader of our proud nation. May you live long and stay healthy!


Ajay Devgn also wished him on his special day


Virat Kohli took to Twitter and wrote: Wishing our Hon. Prime Minister @narendramodi ji, a very happy birthday. Wishing you strength, happiness and good health.

Sunny Deol posted a photograph and wrote: Wishing Dear Prime Minister @narendramodi ji an abundance  of health and a great year ahead.
