Delhi celebrates love beyond candlelight dinners this Valentine’s Day

Valentine’s in Delhi is no longer just about candlelight dinners. This year, the city’s restaurants and cafés are curating experiences that go beyond the usual — think live musical evenings, thoughtfully crafted hampers, limited-edition menus, complimentary desserts for couples, special mocktails and cocktails, and even free treats for furry companions.

Whether celebrating with a partner, planning a Galentine’s outing with close friends, or simply embracing self-love over a comforting meal, Delhi has something designed for every kind of connection. From slow, intimate dinners to lively DJ nights and pet-friendly brunches, the capital is turning February into a month-long celebration of love in all its forms.

Savorworks, Greater Kailash: Berry love

At Savorworks in Greater Kailash, love arrives plated as Berry Love — a delicate, layered dessert crafted entirely in-house and designed especially for the season.

Finished with a thin red velvet cacao butter shell, the dessert reveals a smooth 40% white chocolate crèmeux, lightly infused with vanilla and strawberry. A fresh strawberry compote runs through the centre, layered over soft vanilla sponge, while a buttery sablé base adds a gentle crunch. Balanced, light, and comforting, each element is assembled slowly to ensure the dessert feels indulgent yet refined — a sweet gesture perfect for Valentine’s.

Beyond the special, Savorworks offers a curated menu of artisanal desserts, freshly baked viennoiseries, handcrafted pastries, signature cakes, and speciality coffee. Guests can pair Berry Love with a warm cappuccino, a rich hot chocolate, or explore other seasonal creations and baked favourites, making it an ideal stop for an intimate dessert date, a Galentine’s catch-up, or a solo treat.

INGRI at Museo: Slow love and shared plates

Set within the tranquil surrounds of Museo Camera, INGRI offers a Valentine’s celebration rooted in warmth and ease. With cosy indoor seating and leafy alfresco spaces, it is suited to romantic brunches, long lunches, or intimate dinners.

The curated menu features soups such as Miso Soy Asian Chicken Soup and Classic Minestrone, fresh salads including Poached Pear & Feta and Pan-Tossed Chicken with Fresh Berries, and hearty mains such as Chicken Breast Stuffed with Ham & Cheddar, Classic Spaghetti Bolognese, and a Greek-inspired pizza with grilled zucchini and olives.

Desserts include Chilean Cherry Ice Cream and strawberries dipped in couverture and white chocolate, made for sharing.

What sets INGRI apart this season is its inclusive approach to love. From February 7 to February 14, guests can bring their pets along and enjoy a complimentary treat for their furry companions. Celebrations run from February 1 to February 15, inviting guests to embrace connection without grand gestures — just presence.

Out of the Box, Khan Market: A global celebration

Out of the Box (OTB), Khan Market, brings its signature brown-and-gold elegance to Valentine’s with a global-inspired menu and lively evenings.

Across its three levels, couples can enjoy dishes such as Malai Broccoli, Nested Lotus Kebab, Ghee Roast Chicken with Malabar Parantha, Zaatar Chicken, Truffled Edamame Crystal, and the much-loved Burnt Cheesecake.

At the bar, signature cocktails including Rose Whisper, Mango Picante, and Indigo Bloom G&T complement the festive mood, alongside crafted mocktails. With a live DJ performing every evening, OTB offers a spirited yet intimate setting for celebration.

Singh Sahib: A royal affair

For those drawn to heritage flavours, Singh Sahib presents a Valentine’s experience inspired by royal Indian kitchens.

The menu features signature kebabs, chaats, slow-cooked curries, artisanal breads, and comforting dals prepared using heirloom techniques. As a thoughtful Valentine’s gesture, couples receive a complimentary dessert — hot jalebi paired with creamy rabri.

Set amid royal-inspired interiors with jali detailing and elegant table settings, Singh Sahib creates a celebration steeped in tradition, nostalgia, and warmth.

Silq: An evening of music and nazakat

Inspired by the Silk Route’s shared cultural traditions, Silq offers a refined dining experience rooted in quiet elegance.

On February 14, the restaurant hosts Silq Ki Baithak — an intimate musical evening featuring soulful ghazals by Dr Abhinav. Designed for unhurried conversations, the experience blends warm plates, soft lighting, and live music in an atmosphere of restraint and grace.

Rather than grand declarations, Silq invites guests to celebrate presence — a Valentine’s evening of music, memory, and understated romance.
