IKEA, the Swedish furniture retailer, has recently announced its partnership with Rhenus, an international logistics firm, to expand its service in Delhi NCR (National Capital Region).

- IKEA is setting its foot in the Northern region by opening a store near Gurugram. The facility sprawls over an area of 1.5 lakh sq ft well connected by rail, road and air the company stated in a statement. It began its journey in India with the Hyderabad chapter in August 2018 followed by a store in Navi Mumbai in 2020 and Bengaluru in 2022.
- Rhenus will establish a state of the art warehouse facility with a capacity of storing and fulfilling over 7,000 products. As per an official release made in 2022, IKEA India plans to open 5-6 stores in the Delhi NCR region in the coming years.
