IKEA partners with logistics firm Rhenus to expand its presence in Delhi NCR, opening a new store near Gurugram with a 1.5 lakh sq ft facility. The collaboration includes a state-of-the-art warehouse, enhancing IKEA's service and product availability in the region

IKEA, the Swedish furniture retailer, has  recently announced its partnership with Rhenus, an international logistics firm, to expand its service in Delhi NCR (National Capital Region).

IKEA is a globally recognised furniture and home goods retailer known for its modern, functional and affordable products. It has an expansion of 400 stores in more than 50 countries.

  • IKEA is setting its foot in the Northern region by opening a store near Gurugram. The facility sprawls over an area of 1.5 lakh sq ft well connected by rail, road and air the company stated in a statement. It began its journey in India with the Hyderabad chapter in August 2018 followed by a store in Navi Mumbai in 2020 and Bengaluru in 2022.
  • Rhenus will establish a state of the art warehouse facility with a capacity of storing and fulfilling over 7,000 products. As per an official release made in 2022, IKEA India plans to open 5-6 stores in the Delhi NCR region in the coming years.
