While the city is renowned for its historical landmarks, cultural heritage, and vibrant street markets, Delhi also boasts a thriving late-night dining scene that caters to night owls and those seeking delectable culinary experiences long after the sun has set.

Here’s a glimpse into the world of late-night restaurants in Delhi that offer a delightful blend of flavors and ambiance:

1. Rehmatullah Hotel: Serving delicious Mughlai items since 1948, Rehmatullah Hotel in Chandni Chowk is open all round the clock. It is located beside the famous Al Jawahr restaurant in the Matia Mahal road opposite Jama Masajid. Here one can enjoy superior quality Mughlai food without burning a hole in the pocket.

2. Rajesh Khanna’s The Treat: Located in the heart of Chanakyapuri’s VVIP area, behind Jesus and Mary College, is The Treat – a food joint, which acts as a tribute to the late Bollywood superstar Rajesh Khanna. Its identity lies in its appearance. It looks like a food van, but is not one. Besides, it is completely covered with pictures of Khanna and the actor’s popular songs are played all day long.

It is swarmed by not just the superstar’s fans but by nocturnal wanderers, who would want to gorge on scrumptious bites of Indian style Chinese street food in the wee hours.

3. Al Jawahar, Jama Masjid: Loved by non-vegetarians, it has garnered a devoted following not only from the locals of Old Delhi but also from the wider region. Although its official closing time is typically around midnight, it continues to serve customers long after the clock strikes 12 am. Some must-try delicacies at Al Jawahar include their delectable Shami Kabab, flavorful Mutton Biryani, and the ever-popular Chicken Changezi.

4. AIIMS Paranthe Wala: If you’re looking for the most delicious tea and hearty parathas in South Delhi during the late hours, make your way to the entrance of Safdarjung Hospital, right across from AIIMS. This spot attracts a diverse crowd, from students and friends to patients seeking a late-night treat.

5. Comesum: Comesum is the ideal destination for hanging out with friends at any time, day or night. It offers a worry-free experience when it comes to variety and prices. You can relish excellent food without straining your wallet. Among its various branches, the one situated at Nizamuddin Railway Station stands out as the most renowned.
