Delhi and its neighbouring areas offer a plethora of picturesque routes that promise both peace and adventure.

So, buckle up to explore five scenic drives that promise to turn this Republic Day into an unforgettable road trip adventure.

1. Fort Unchagaon (Approx. 55 km from Delhi): Known as one of the most enjoyable places within 100 km from Delhi NCR, Fort Unchagaon is a delight for trekkers. Explore the fort and nearby village, engaging in activities like pottery, jaggery making, and bullock cart riding. In summers, the sighting of river dolphins adds to the allure. Serenity seekers can bask in the joy of a Ganges river swim or a boat ride.

2. Damdama Lake (Approx. 61 km from Delhi): A tranquil retreat just 61 km from Delhi, Damdama Lake offers a picturesque setting with the Aravalli Ranges as a backdrop. Visitors indulge in boating, bird watching, and peaceful strolls throughout the year, transforming the area into a buzzing locale.

3. Nuh (Approx. 87 km from Delhi): Steeped in history, Nuh in Haryana served as the headquarters of Mewat during the 14th century under the rule of Bahadur Singh of Ghasera. The town, now in ruins, features remnants of Bahadur Khan’s mosque and tomb. Located 87 km from Delhi, it is adorned by the Nalhad River and Chui Mai Pond.

4. Kuchesar Mud Fort (Approx. 100 km from Delhi): A traditional village gem, Kuchesar Mud Fort, situated 100 km away in Bulandshahr District, Uttar Pradesh, standing tall since the British era.
