Haryana: In Faridabad, Haryana, a severe case of drunken driving endangered multiple lives. A car driver, heavily intoxicated, was erratically parking his car in the middle of the road and picking up passengers, causing a significant traffic obstruction. When a traffic police sub-inspector approached to issue a challan and requested the car’s papers, a heated argument broke out.

In a shocking twist, the driver attempted to flee, dragging the sub-inspector with his speeding car. Thankfully, with the help of other police officers, the driver was eventually stopped, preventing a potential tragedy. The sub-inspector, a home guard, and nearby passersby narrowly escaped injury.

Witnesses confirmed the driver’s inebriated state and reckless driving. The driver was apprehended and taken to the police station, and a video of the incident shot by passersby quickly went viral on social media. This incident underscores the severe dangers of drunken driving and the urgent need for strict enforcement of traffic laws to protect lives on the road.
