As Christmas approaches, the festive spirit is spreading rapidly in the lively heart of Delhi NCR. As the city prepares for the celebrations, families and friends come together, fostering a warm atmosphere brimming with laughter and joy.
This year, the festivities extend beyond the weekend, turning the holiday season into a prolonged jubilation. Many markets in Delhi, as well as NCR, are bustling with Christmas accessories.
“Every year around this time, I sell Christmas caps and trees. People, especially teenagers and children, come to buy caps, trees, and special Christmas bells,” says Vishwajeet Kumar, who sells clothes in Noida sector-18 market.
The markets and shops in sector 18, Noida, transform into a winter wonderland. Adorned with twinkling lights and Christmas trees, the market becomes a haven of festive delights. Strolling through the markets of Delhi-NCR in the chilling winters, one can’t help but get enchanted by the shops showcasing Santa Claus toys, festive dresses, Christmas trees, and cosy caps.
“I had come to watch the new movie along with my family. We stumbled upon this small Christmas market. Our children were very excited about the market, so we decided to shop here a bit,” says Arpit Singh, who was shopping near the DLF Mall in Noida.
As people fill the streets during the holiday season, many are heading to malls and cafes adorned with Christmas themes.
