
A 35-year-old man was stabbed in northeast Delhi’s Mangla area, police said.
Nazir, a resident of Jafrabad area, sustained multiple stab wounds to his forehead, neck, and abdomen by unknown assailants.
“He was attacked while riding his scooter near Mangla Hospital street in Jafrabad around 6:45 pm,” said Deputy Commissioner of Police (northeast) Joy Tirkey.
Police received a distress call at 6:59 pm and found Nazir deceased on the street, approximately 250 meters from his residence.
Authorities said that Nazir had several prior legal issues, including cases of robbery and attempted murder registered against him at Jafrabad police station.
“The CCTV footage in the area is under scrutiny, and we are actively working to identify the perpetrators,” added the DCP, confirming the initiation of a murder case.(With inputs from PTI)
