
A 57-year-old Hungarian national was robbed by two motorcycle-borne men while traveling in an autorickshaw in south Delhi’s Lodhi Colony, police ssid.
According to police, the incident occurred around 3 pm on Sunday as the woman was en route from Humayun’s Tomb to the Hungarian embassy.
“Near Dayal Singh College, two men on a motorcycle snatched the woman’s bag which contained her mobile phone, Rs 12,000 cash, and bank cards,” they said. Unfortunately, she couldn’t note down the motorcycle’s registration number, they added.
Police responded to the complaint, and a case has been registered under sections 356 and 379 of the Indian Penal Code. An investigation is underway to apprehend the culprits.
